Inside Out Education
The Kentucky State Parks Foundation educational initiative, in collaboration with the Department of Parks and the Department of Education, provides grant support to schools (K-12) to help them visit our Kentucky State Parks and Historic Sites. The goal of Inside Out Education is to engage students in educational field experiences that are an extension of the classroom and directly related to school curriculum. By utilizing our wonderful state park system as a learning laboratory, we seek to maximize student learning and academic achievement through enhancing the traditional classroom experience.
